What parent would name their children Rufus and Martha?

Well, despite the name, Rufus Wainwright put on a kick-ass show at The Fillmore last night. From the solo piano pieces to the full-band rock songs to the three-part harmonies of Rufus, Martha (his sister) and Teddy Thompson (who I didn't recognize, but whose song, "Wake Up," I adore), the show was varied and phenomenal. But it was a standing show, so while I was psyched to hear him start the third song of his second encore, I was dying to leave sit my ass down.

Oh, and Martha opened for Rufus. She is just as incredible as he is. And most people know their parents are a successful folkish duo. Killer genes, eh?
